The mission of the J. America Team Licensed Group is to perform as a championship team to ignite the passion, pride and commitment of the fan by delivering exciting, innovative, world-class apparel to our customers on-time and complete.

In early 2013, as a result of our landmark deal with The Ohio State University, J. America opened a new design and development studio deep in the heart of the Short North District in Columbus, OH. This ‘Columbus Design Center’, located in the legendary Smith Brother’s Hardware Building, became the newest member of an elite fraternity of prestigious apparel companies like Abercrombie & Fitch, Victoria Secret, Limited Brand and Lane Bryant who call Columbus home.

Proven merchandising, design, and development talent with decades of licensed product experience were gathered from across the United States to become J. America’s new
‘front-line’ in the creation and industrialization of unique, trend-right apparel and headwear. Forging a renewed culture of collaboration and creativity, the Columbus Design Center is the ‘boots on the ground’, researching the latest industry trends and techniques, striving with our collegiate and retail partners to make the very best licensed product possible.

Later in 2013, right on the heels of our new design studio, J. America opened our new global sourcing office in Hong Kong. This new center, affectionately known as JAGS (J. America Global Sourcing) serves as our ‘hub of creation and production’ by working side-by-side with our factories and is the crucial facilitator in translating our design vision into strong product landed and on the retail floors.

Today, these two new dedicated and driven facilities joining forces with our J. America Corporate Headquarters in Fowlerville, MI, we have created a powerful trifecta apparel juggernaut, focused solely on our mission statement: igniting the passion, pride and commitment of the fan by delivering exciting, innovative, world-class apparel to our customers on-time and complete.

We are proud to be one of a very select group of Participating Company affiliates with the Fair Labor Association (FLA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting workers’ rights and improving working conditions in factories worldwide.

J. America’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mission is to conduct business in an ethical manner, to promote and protect worker’s rights worldwide and to help improve working conditions by partnering with our global supply chain. We require our suppliers to conduct business with the highest of standards and ethics while respecting human rights and complying with local laws by committing to our Workplace Code of Conduct and submitting to third party audits of their facilities. In partnership with our global supply chain, J. America continues to work towards creating positive change for apparel workers worldwide.
