Nov. 1, 2016, Columbus, OH– The J. America Global Sourcing (JAGS) center doubles in size with the unveiling of a new office in Hong Kong to meet the needs of J. America’s (JA) growth throughout all four divisions.
The expansion comes just three years after the original opening in Dec. 2013. A staff of seven work in the China location, with W.K. Lam as the general manager. Lam leads the way alongside of JA’s U.S.-based, VP of global sourcing. The office sources product and accessories throughout Asia and is currently looking to expand in the middle east and Western Hemisphere.
VP of Global Sourcing, Neal Cohen shares, “The opening of this office reflects the exciting growth and change taking place at JA. We are now structured to handle the needs of all divisions seamlessly, while maintaining high standards our customers have grown to expect and appreciate from us.”

JAGS’s product development staff travels to all far-east trade shows while simultaneously updating the sourcing matrix, putting JA at the forefront of new design and technology. All divisions have access to this extensive library that continues to grow in the extra space.
